Marty and I are very good friends of Absolut Vanilia vodka (no, that's not a typo--that's how they spell it). I'm actually sitting in B.D. Riley's Pub right now. And Baze is letting me use his beautiful titanium powerbook. Anyhoo, the Vanilla Cosmopolitan at B.D. Riley's is very good. We recommend it to all of our friends.
hey, guys and gals. what's going on with y'all bellyfuzzers this summer? i know everyone's been desperate for my return to this forum (as if. who is she again?)... but i've been rilly busy making art, raising the cute kid and helping my hubby take over pop culture press magazine...
so, what's hot and what's not? what's making you hot and keeping you cool?
the big no-no's:
sanctimonious, mom-hatin' moms
sex and the city (okay, i still love SJP, but it's seeming phoned in)
bush, rummy, delay and their ilk
my personal lack of a good vacation here or here or here or even here, fer chrissakes
summer blockbusteritis
please make a post and share the wealth (or the dearth)...
Surely, you've all been seeing the ads for Bravo's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. The concept is that gay guys turn a straight guy into something women want. A straight colleague of mine is convinced that this is all part of the agenda, and who am I to dissuade him.
While this all seems new and original, we're getting on the gay-makeover bandwagon a bit late. The Dutch TV network Net5 has had The Gay Team for about a year. Not only that, they get to make over women, which I suspect, is a bit more challenging than a male re-deaux. The Dutch team has a really cool camper to do their assignments in, just like the old A-Team.
