2003 continues to bring birds into my life. Its all very strange, but I'm rolling with it.
We've been incubating peacock eggs for a couple of months now, and they're beginning to hatch. Here's the two little birds that came out today. While I'm not very good with the digital camera, I did put a matchbook in there for scale. They're pretty amazing & chatty, even chirping while they were in the eggs. As a city boy, that was totally amazing to hear eggs make noise.
